Prof. Michele Magno | Principal Investigator
Michele Magno (Senior Member, IEEE) received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2004 and 2010, respectively.
He is a Privatdozent at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where he is the Head of the Project-Based Learning Center. Furthermore, he is a Fellow Professor at the Interdisciplinary Transformation University of Austria (IT:U). He has collaborated with several universities and research centers, such as Mid Sweden University, where he is a Guest Full Professor.
He has published over 150 articles in international journals and conferences, for which he received multiple best papers and poster awards.
Luigi Capogrosso, Ph.D. | Postdoctoral Researcher
Luigi Capogrosso (Student Member, IEEE) received his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (Cum Laude) at the Polytechnic of Turin in 2025. He received his B.Sc. (2019) and M.Sc. (2021) at the University of Verona in Computer Science and Computer Engineering for Robotics and Smart Industry, respectively.
His interests cover the broad area of learning, and the main topics he is currently working on can be grouped into the classes of efficient machine learning, learning-enabled cyber-physical systems, and representation learning.
